RONA

Updating my website today, I browsed through photos from my previous Stairwell Project series. These images were all taken inside Baltimore City Public Schools buildings between 2014 and 2019. Perusing the thumbnails, I selected one I hadn't looked at in several years. The composition included a nice pop of pink and some interesting textures, so I uploaded it to use on my updated site. When the photo was opened to full screen size, I read the graffiti that had been carved into the wooden countertop and then painted over many years before. The bottom corner of the photo says "RONA." If that doesn't sum up 2020 thus far, I don't know what does.
